Stephen Sene was formerly employed at The Florence Crittenton Agency, a rehabilitation center for youth addicted to drugs and alcohol. He served as the Level 3 Program Supervisor. Over the past several years, Stephen has worked with a diverse group of youth in many different roles. These roles include a probation counselor for at risk teens, a care specialist in a Level 2 facility and a house parent in a Level 3 facility. Each specific duty has given Stephen valuable experience, as well as wisdom and compassion to work with youth right where they are, regardless of their circumstances. This passion for the youth was discovered when Stephen was just out of high school and served as a youth leader in his church, New Life Community Church, in Irmo, SC. 2002 Stephen graduated from Dutch Fork High School, in Irmo, SC and accepted a Full Athletic Scholarship to the University of South Carolina (USC). 2003 Stephen went on his first mission trip to Hungry Horse, Montana. There, he served at an Indian Youth Camp where God initially called him into the ministry, he ignored the call. 2004-05 Stephen went back to Hungry Horse and served at the same youth camp. Finally, after returning back to his hometown, he accepted his calling into the ministry. Stephen withdrew from USC and transferred to Dodge City Community College (DCCC) in Dodge City, KS. There he served at a local church where he worked with 5th-6th graders and re-established the FCA program at the community college. 2005, Stephen accepted a Full Athletic Scholarship to Liberty University (LU). There Stephen majored in Youth Ministry and played football. 2007, Stephen graduated from Liberty University and began his Masters in Counseling. After graduation, Stephen served as a Co-Youth Pastor at an inner city church, Tree of Life, White Rock. There, he and Co-Youth Pastor and teammate, Britt Stone, taught Biblical foundations to the youth in the area ranging in ages 7-17. 2009, Stephen married the love of his life, the former Kari Kanagy of Mt. Gilead, OH. They currently live in Medellin with their 3 children (Brynnen, Graycen, & Westen).

Britt, on the opportunity to serve with ONE Ministry as a member of the Board of Directors, “I am honored that my longtime friend, and brother in Christ, Stephen Sene, would ask me to serve on the board for his ministry. I have not only partnered with Stephen before as a teammate, but I have served with him in ministry and I know he has a heart for seeing students and children come to know Jesus Christ. With his leadership ONE Ministry will multiply the testimony and love that Stephen has for his Savior and for helping people in poverty around the world. I can’t wait to see how God will use ONE Ministry to increase His Kingdom.”
